help with setting up shipping

Hi folks am just working on my first opencart store and wondered if anyone could help me with setting up the shipping

We are setting up a mows site and what we need to do is set it up so that

A) Any product can be picked up from instore, (you then get a £10 voucher to spend instore on collection)
B) Certain mowers cannot be shipped due to manufacturer rules but we will deliver in person within 30 miles of our doncaster UK store
C) Some products can have free shipping to uk mainland and have a charge to scottish mainland & highlands

Also on the home page we want a postcode checker so that people can see if they fall within our 30mile delivery zone

can anyone offer help and advise on setting this up

think i'm about there using zone plus shipping

only problem is I could do with being able to to set a higher starting point than 0 in costs eg 1 - 9999:10.00 so anything with a weight of 0 is ignored. I take it this would require amendments to the shipping script

It sounds like Manufacturer-Based Shipping would work for you. It allows you to set a higher starting point, and give certain manufacturers different shipping rates.
