I have a question. The OpenCart will automatically upgrade, such as in the WordPress? (Remember, this is the minimum in the web two.)

I asked the same question here:

Does Web2 mean that it does not give me the possibility to decide if I would like to upgrade or not.
I would not like such a function!

The automatic upgrade feature (which is an optional feature!) is very-very basic... See security patches, modules updating, new version or other component, etc... that is it.

ROFL "web two" !! That's the funniest line of the week!
Is that how it is read in some countries?

I think he means "Web 2.0" (two-point-oh). Web 2.0 is really more about ajax than autoupgrading.

To offer auto-upgrade there needs to be a package install system like smf and wordpress have... where you can easily upload a zip file package and it can auto extract and install and patch, etc.

I actually started researching this using the smf system and the phpbb "EasyMod" as some inspiration. It's on the back burner to other jobs I am working on but it would be nice to get going on this again.
