Import/Export module unable to export

Hi, I am unable to export products from my store using the Import/Export tool by JNeuhoff. The excel file is being generated, but when I open it, I get an error that the file is not an excel formatted file. If I still open it. It has only one cell filled, with the following error. Can someone help me fix this.

Seems to be a problem with it not being updated to the newer opencart releases, you'd probably have to use it on a older opencart version or wait until he updates it and since it is free, it might take a while. I'm still able to import even though I get an error afterwards. Use the built in backup/restore tool if you need to save anything.

I updated to the latest available module which supports 1.5.3.1, but I still get the below error. I have set all the required memory parameters and confirmed with my host that they are not forcing any limits. But still no luck.

I have around 2500 products and 150 categories. My database size is around 7MB. But still no luck exporting with the import-export module.

I have this same error, did you get this sorted?

No, I have stopped using the module now. The module itself is very good, but the lack of support makes it useless.

Have you found an alternative or do you just put stock in through Admin panel?
