has anyone create a mod like this for someone i'm just looking for a way to let people collect reward points for posting reviews, and if they don't have an affiliate account collect reward points for share products on facebook, twitter etc.

Reviews can be made by anyone even guests. Reward points are tied to customer accounts only. You would just need to make sure that you set a redirect for those NOT LOGGED IN to register before leaving a review :)

After you get that done it's very easy to shoot that customer some points for leaving a review.

i was thinking of auto reward points for review kind of like orders if your logged in you and you create a review you get 2 points, when i go into the review i just activate those points when activating the review.

I think this is an EXCELLENT IDEA as well ... and I absolutely AGREE that the reward points function would need to be exclusive for CUSTOMERS who have already purchased products and/or PAID MEMBERS (if one's site has a membership/subscription element to the site/store). Otherwise, you will most assuredly see spamming "reviews" by anyone (or worse, bots) for the sake of generating unqualified points.

Perhaps a "captcha" type confirmation function as well - to keep the bots out.

Hope this idea comes to fruition one day for the OpenCart community !!!

It's bookmarked and on the list. Maybe someone will get to it before I do. O0
It would probably end up being a free one.

Just finished the module. You can check the details here.

Five dollars off for the first five buyers. FIRSTFIVE ;D

Have been working on a few commercial projects here, trying to build some modules for sale for a change.
