File permission issues after server transfer

Hi,

I've just moved a site from one hosting company to my own server. Everything seemed fine, product images etc were loading, however the OC Slideshow isn't show any images. I've deleted and recreated the banners etc and nothing. I noticed that the files in the cache were still with user "apache" from the old server, so I went into the root and changed everything to my new user but still the same issue. Also any new files generated in the cache still have the old user - so i'm thinking it's still a permission issue...

Any ideas?

Very common issue with a new server, you may need to change file permissions on images folder to 744 or even 777 (not recommended). In your web host's cPanel go to FILE MANAGER, click until you get to the /images/ folder, go to the right column FILE PERMISSIONS and double-click in the box to change.
