auto reward points

I'm using this plugin:

works great however, the point is rewarded based on the "points" assigned to each product.

We offer discount for online purchase, ie 15-50% discount on certain products. We want the "points assigned" according to the total purchase amount.

Can we reward points based on "amount sold" instead of "points assigned"?
