Hi,

I've just finished setting-up a new online store for a friend of mine using OpenCart. Everything went smoothly ... everything, except the new language. I've decided to install the Slovenian language, so I did. I installed it correctly and enabled it. But when I use it, it doesn't display the special characters (I've checked my MySQL database, and everything seems to be just fine there). Why is that, what can I do?

All language files are utf-8 encoded ? Check with N++ and convert them to utf-8 without bom. After that check if special characters are correctly written in files.

If you give me the link for the language download I can install and test it on my temporary installation (1.5.3.1)

It can't be the language files' fault, as I'm translating them on the go. Oh, by the way ... the website is http://t23.me/3

When I change 'Character Encoding' to iso-8859-2 then I got proper language display but currency symbols are messed.
I am using Firefox. Imo, you should check the language files and convert them to 'utf-8 without bom'.
Start with files in ../module/ folder.

Yes, I tried that, but it doesn't seem to work. When I convert them to "UTF-8 Without BOM", they don't work properly while viewing in UTF-8, nor ISO-8859-2.
