Hello, Is it possible to consider the fckeditor It's really simple to include. I have added it for my build however will need to keep adding it in if it's not put in standard. Clients don't understand html to code themselve.

Hi to all.

why you have decided to use fck that an other instead?

I have used fck in past, but he has given various problems to me. Now I am using tinymce

You have thought to a modular system for being able to install an other editor?

Bye,

Actually I have used TinyMCE before and that has given me more problems than FCK. I find MCE is very slow to load up and doesn't have all the features I'm after.

ok, Daniel...

I was sure that you had tried both. I have found slower FCK.
moreover if it creates two languages, I do not succeed (firefox) to write the description of the product in the second language

however it would be useful to be able to install/select the editor from the control panel.
Which thing of tasks?

Thank you

PS: I have see also:

http://www.openwebware.com/
but I have not still tried in deepened way

Spaw Editor has to intergrated with OpenCart files. I don't like doing this because of the poor programming behind the project and its not very secure.

OpenWebWare hasn't been updated in a while and it has many bugs.

Will the FCK editor have the option for the admin to turn it on and off?

I always prefer to input data without any editor, but clients would obviously prefer using the editor.

There already is a button on the FCK editor to edit in source mode.

I don't like using any WYSWYG editor, it is too slow in firefox under linux.

Instead, I tweaked OpenCart in order to using light weight markup languages.
(Since OpenCart included jquery, I replaced FCKEditor with jTagEditor)

I think it will be better if there is an option can let us choose whether to enable FCKEditor or not.

I think it's required.

However, like wordpress it'd be nice to have an option for visual or code, or something like that.

Or at least somewhere to just turn it off entirely for those that don't want it.
