Hi guys

I am thinking about using SecureTrading as my payment gateway. Opencart by default does not support SecureTrading, and vice versa.

I have found a module on the web than can integrate the two - http://theqdomain.com/ocstore/securetrading

However, this mod can only integrate using the SecureTrading Payment Pages method on http://www.securetrading.com/pci-dss-solutions.html

Ideally, I want to integrate using the SecureTrading Payment Frame method, shown on link above.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a mod that could achieve this? If not is there a developer out there who would build me a module?

Pls let me know asap.

Thanks

Nick

Pretty sure that module doesn't exist already, so you would need to get it developed (qphoria would likely be your best bet)

Thanks for info Q. When do you think you will be able to take a look? Could your existing module be hacked around to allow for the iframe option? I.e. Are you able to edit the "upload_to_opencart" part of the module so it opens as an iframe rather than the usual open to new window?

I know this is an old thread. I was just wondering if anything ever came of this?

Thanks in advance.

I think there are two modules available. One by qphoria and one by secure trading themselves

Thanks for coming back Jay. I have found three extentions, 2 by Secure Trading for the STPP and STAPI integration, and one by lozzareeves. Unfortunately nothing by Qphoria from what I could see.

Just to keep anyone else interested in this updated, I have spoken to Secure Trading about this and they have passed the request onto their development team. I will post back if anything comes of it.

I have just had their support team contact me with the following:

In order to include the i-frame within their website, the merchant only needs to include a line similar to the below within the html on their page. The main fields to note are the ones in bold.
<iframe src="https://payments.securetrading.net/proc ... t_site1234[/b]&mainamount=10.00&currencyiso3a=GBP&version=1" width="100%" height="600" scrolling="auto" style="border@0px;"></iframe>
So my next question is....

Does this seem compatible with opencart, and where would I stick the html?

I've now modified the ST payment module to work in an iframe.
I'll package it up along with updated CSS files to be uploaded to ST and post a link shortly.

Colour Code you orders by Order Status

I'm in the process of trying out SecureTrading (I like them because a real person answers the phone when you call them). As well as the payment gateway we have also been set up with a virtual terminal and have been provided with a link which I am hoping could be incorporated into backend order creation so that the person entering the order doesn't have to (appear to) leave opencart to process the payement. Seems like it shouldn't be too difficult to do, but not sure how to go about it as I'm still quite new to opencart (but not development)
Any suggestions (and also pointers to any overviews on how opencart and extensions actually fit together) gratefully received, thanks
