The Products Viewed report contained in your OpenCart package provides total product views and percentages only. This alternative also provides you with a breakdown of average views, per day, week, month and year.

Full installation instructions. Nothing overwritten.

OpenCart version compatibility: all 1.5.0.x releases.

Available at Fido-X IT.

I have just installed the vqmod of this, and looked into reports > products and there are two options, viewed and purchased.. is this right as I am not having much luck with installing vqmods and other extentions, either nothing loads, I get an error or what I installed just doesn't appear.... All user error I know.

What version of OpenCart are you using?

The vQmod file that is included with the package is for OC 1.5.0.x. The vQmod file posted above, is for OC 1.5.1.x.

Where did you put the file? It should go in the vqmod/xml folder.

Have you gone into admin - system - user groups - edit administrator rights - checked 'report/average_views' to enable it?

Oddly report/average_views isn't on either the access permission list or modify permission list.

Where did you put the files? The idea is to copy the contents of the upload folder to your store's top-level directory, not the upload folder itself.

I got the mod working with the file listed above, thanks for that!

This mod is very useful, but was wondering if there was a different mod similar to this but that would show me how many views each product had for the past day, and the day before that. Maybe just list like the last 5 days and how many views each product had on each day.
