Template Help

Hello, can you please help me installing my template, exactly where do you start from when installing your template on the ftp because on the open cart control panel I get the option, but after selecting it I still get the default when I view the website. Can you give me a step by step instruction in exactly what folder it should go in. Please help

It depends for every theme. The first step is to upload it to your server via ftp , some template include the template folder only which has to be uploaded in catalog/view/theme , but some templates allready have the folder structure and you would just need to upload the catalog(sometimes other folders too) from the template to your opencart root(the folder in which you have opencart installed) and each file will go into its place. But most themes come with their own installation instructions, so see those first.

I recently intalled opencart 1.5.2. There is a cool tempIate I want to buy, but it is for opencart version 1.5.1.3. I am wondering if it will be compatible with version 1.5.2 If not, are there any changes I can make to make it compatible ?

you try asking the author? They might be working on an updated version already, or you asking might prod them into doing it.
Since every template is different i dont think there's an easy way to determine if it's 100% compatible. I'm going to guess that it will need some modifications (might be quick/easy) to be up to snuff for 1.5.2
