How to changewording out of stock to going soon

I want to change the out of stock status wording, so if any one can direct me to the right folder to change that would be great

Make a new stock status in the admin-configuration-localization
then set that to the product

The question is can I do a simple word change on the product data side in the backend where it has out of stock,1-2 days and such to coming soon instead of one of the 3 choice. I don't want a new status just change/replace one of them...sorry for the jumble question when asked originally .
