I'm looking for quotes to produce a new module for an OC shop I'm building. If this is a bad place to do so, please advise, and I'll remove my post.

I would like your bid for the following, if you are interested:

I will need help to graft a press section to the existing framework of Web site. This would require...
  • Adding a page displaying thumbnails of all of the magazines the client's been featured in
  • Mockup attached: Page 1
  • Would act the same as the product collection page
Making Fancybox popups that would appear when a thumbnail is clicked
  • Mockup attached: Page 2
  • Would act very similar to the product details popup currently in production
  • Would include rollover scrolling, as discussed yesterday for the product collection pages
Adding a section to the admin area, where new articles could be uploaded. Fields in this section would include:
  • Example of product upload page attached: Page 3
  • Magazine title
  • Article date
  • Image upload for up to X images
  • Optional field for short description
In all cases, HTML and CSS would be provided, and some javascript and all server side programming would be your responsibility. SEO would need to be attended to in your programming methods. Feel free to state guidelines for how you'd like the HTML/CSS constructed.

The newest test DBs are in subfolders of the _database folder.

If you are interested in this assignment, please reply to notiondigitalarts at gmail dt com with a fixed bid, and an estimate on the number of days it would take to complete. Also, please list any requirements or assets you'd need prior to starting.

While this idea seems very interesting, the screenshot from the PDF where it says it's only for visual purposes only ... I'm not sure I understand the purpose of the screenshot itself ... showing the product form relies on what exactly with this request particularly ?

Straightlight,

The PDF was initially made for people not familiar to OpenCart. I wanted to give an example of what a form in the admin system looked like. Feel free to just disregard this screenshot, and instead rely on the written specifications:
  • Adding a section to the admin area, where new articles could be uploaded. Fields in this section would include:
  • Magazine title
  • Article date
  • Image upload for up to X images
  • Optional field for short description
These are the fields that would need to be accounted for to support this module in the admin system.

Thank you,
John

I didn't thought that people needed to be familiarized with OpenCart or any other platform to present a relative web form amongst a screenshot when requesting a specific module ...

Anyhow, have you checked the market for distributed news modules since you're particularly looking for to have a developed module ? There are a few of them already. ;)

Thank you, Straightlight. I searched through the market for something like what I'm asking. Simple as it would seem to be, I couldn't find anything that quite fit the bill. There's a lot in there, though. Would you mind linking to an example or two?

Thank you very much.
