How To Add a Product Faster ?

Is there some kind of plugin which would display "add a product" in one page without any tabs and with less fields to fill, and the possibility to upload image straight from hard drive(now you have to upload it from hdd and then find it in the folder) ?

Sometimes it seems for me that developers of opencart are making opencart lack features on purpose that people would buy plugins.This time I don't even see suitable plugins.Any suggestions ?

I found one, but it seems outdated, not sure if works on current(1.5.2.1) version

As far as images go, there was a great add-on uksb_filemanager_newest_first.xml which displays the newest file in that folder. http://www.opencart-extensions.co.uk/ .
I usually just copy a product that is close, and rename it.
