Suddenly our site loads in about 30 seconds.
This happened over one night when we were not doing anything with the homepage.
Sometimes it comes at the "best" hours around 18.00-19.00 and can go on for hours.
Our host have done all changes possible.
Why has this happened?
I am using shoppica on a Open Cart 1.5.1.3.

If you really didn't do anything, it means you are on shared hosting. Then it can't be helped.
We have a dedicated server and we opened a test site www.mydomain.com/test and it loaded very fast!
Then we looked at other shoppica websites, for example the source code. Our source code loads within 30 seconds and theirs loaded in 1-3 seconds.
Any ideas how to locate the problem?

Try webpagetest.org. If you have a high time to first byte then it's something server side. If it's a high load time then it's some element on your page.
