Hello,

There might be a bug with v 1.3.1:

I tried to install the v 1.3.1 on my local host using MAMP, but all i got was a blank page when i ran the installation page.

In order to try to establish that the problem lies with v 1.3.1 and not my Mac or MAMP, I tried to install v 1.3.0 on the same settings and managed to get the installation page running without any problems.

Any chance that you guys might look into this problem?

Thanks for all the great work.

I have the same problem ;)
Do it manually, and you will be fine, only think you need to do is to install it on your website first so you can backup your database from phpmyadmin and then restore it on your mamp. Other think make sure you have php 5.2 in your mamp.

I think I have solution for you:

I get the blank screen on step one ( when you entering database info )

Do you have on front page of installation your Magic Quotes GPC: on ? If you do you have to turn it off and you will be able to continue with install.

You can turn it off in your php.ini by going in file - edit template - PHP5 php.ini

That fixed for me.

Hopes it helps you :)
