how to set the status offline ?

im using the opencart version 1.5.2.1 ,,,i need to set the status as off line ,, i tried alott but failled to do that
can sum one help me to find out the way to set offline as status

Do you mean Maintenance Mode?

if this it is thn System>Setting>Edit>Server Tab

Select "Maintenance Mode"

You can have control over what gets displayed when you turn on maintenance mode by using this extension:
