Question about new update

I am currently running v.1.5.1.3, if i want to update to v1.5.2. what do i have to do (besides downloading the update). I mean, i am new to they whole OC world, i am already half way through building my online store, and I'm afraid if i do the update i might lose all the work. How do you update to the new version keeping all the settings i already have? thanks

Ok, i'll give you some instructions...

STEP 1. BACKUP YOUR EXISTING STORE FILES AND DATABASE!!!

STEP 2. Upload ALL new files on top of your current install execpt your config.php and admin/config.php

STEP 3. Browse to http://www.yourstore.com/shop/install

STEP 4. The installer should direct you to the upgrade process.

STEP 5. Click "Upgrade". After a few seconds you should see the upgrade success page.

STEP 6. Clear any cookies in your browser to avoid getting token errors.

STEP 7. Load the admin page & press Ctrl+F5 twice to force the browser to update the css changes.

STEP 8. Goto Admin->Users->User Groups and Edit the Top Adminstrator group. Check All boxes.

STEP 9. Goto Admin->System->Settings.
- Be sure to set the "Use Store Tax Address" and "Use Customer Tax Address" to "Shipping Address" (for most users) to ensure taxes work
- Update any other fields and click save, even if nothing changed.

Step 10. Goto Admin->System->Localisation->Tax Rates->Edit Existing rates
- Be sure to add a Tax Rate Name if empty
- Be sure to check the boxes for the customer groups that are affected by this tax rate

STEP 11. Load the store front & press Ctrl+F5 twice to force the browser to update the css changes.

Ok, i did the upgrade, however i get this error on top of several pages (category, product) i get this error:

have you done any custom modification to any core files

no i have not

just fixed it, i had to open the categories module and re-save it
