Our Default-Auto template is a modified version of OpenCart's Default installation template. It's fluid design has been tested in resolution widths of 800 to 1600.
The container and three verticals columns all collapse and expand as the screen resolution is re-sized. Current settings are at 90% width, and 0.5em margins right and left. You can set the width of the container from 100% on down to it's minimum width of 768 pixels to get the look you want, every thing else will automatically adjust for you, including the graphics
This template is not a direct replacement for the OpenCart Default template as more than just the standard theme files and graphics have been modified to achieve the layout desired. Graphics were also added to the theme design to allow for the expansion and contraction of the layout.
The Default-Auto template CSS and layout.tpl files are also designed to accommodate a collapsible header banner as shown in the demo. The Default-Auto template download does not include the files for the banner in the demo.
To install Our Default-Auto template you'll want to turn off your current catalog folder [ catalog-off ] and upload the new Default-Auto catalog folder. This makes it easy to revert back to the Opencart standard theme layouts.
This color theme is BlueAgate, more color themes and header sets will be made available in the form of Theme Color Packs.
The zip file contains new files in the following folders;
- catalog
- controller
- language
- model
- view
and their associated folders and files.
Default-Auto template has been tested in the latest browser versions: FireFox, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Opera. It has also been tested in Mac browsers.
This template is Free to use on one Non-Profit or Commercial website.
You may not use this template for resale or multiple websites without buying a Commercial Webmasters License. You must retain the [ Template by NWISG webStudio ] on the website using this template unless a Commercial Webmasters License has been purchased.
This template zip file is to large to add to OpenCarts Contributions System, but will soon be available from my webStudio. Unfortunately I'm in the process of maintenance to the site.
