Cant get any shipping to work

hello,

Everytime i try to select a shipping method i get this error in logs

2012-03-04 15:10:23 - PHP Notice: Undefined index: comment in /usr/www/bow/htdocs/catalog/controller/checkout/shipping.php on line 42

on the user page there is no error visible, it just wont get passed the selected shipping methods.
I have tried Flat rate and Free Shipping with the same results.

this is line 42 if it helps

$this->session->data['comment'] = strip_tags($this->request->post['comment']);

PROBLEM SOLVED. Seems my admin removed the comment field in shipping.tpl and it threw the system into hell

once i added it back we are good to go!
