backup error

I'mtrying to upgrade from 1.2.9, but I can't get past the first step of backing up the DB. I click on Backup, and I get the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method ModelToolBackup::export() in /home/swellinf/public_html/cart/admin/controller/tool/backup.php on line 72

So, how do I get this to work successfully?

i'm not sure why you have got ths error. the line you are talking about in 1.3.0 does not even have that line of code.

i'm talking about using the admin backup function. I'm just trying to back up my 1.2.9 DB. I haven't even copied over 1.3.0 yet.
