Hi,

I'm using v 1.4.9.4 and am using WorldPay to process transactions. That is all working correctly and payments can be successfully made.
However, after payment the customer gets the WorldPay "all is OK, payment has been made screen" but that's it. There is no re-direction back to the main website and there is no link back to the site.
Is this normal? What would I have to do to send it back to the website? Is there "thank you for payment" page built into OpenCart?

Many thanks,
Richard

Hi all,

I"m experiencing this issue running Open Cart 1.5.4 with a totally standard setup. I've not seen any indication that callbacks are failing or anything as the transacitons are being confirmed correctly in my admin panel. I also get the confirmation emails from Worldpay.

Two problems here..

1) Users don't get the option to return to my store;
2) The cart, on manually returning to my store, still contains the items that have bene successfully purchased.

I've used Worldpay before in a custom built site and experienced the trauma of writing code around this, but I'd sort of assumed (perhaps incorrectly) that this would be solved in the OpenCart platform and would "just work".

Extra info: I'm new to OpenCart. I have an average level of PHP experience (although not so much written in OO style, more not getting the format, the principles are ok). I'm learning MVC principles, they don't appear difficult. I have enough Worldpay experience to believe I've got stuff right from that perspective. I have Google'd for solutions to this and haven't found anything.

Would love the help of the expert community in solving my problem.

Loads of love,

Ian

This might be the answer to 1)

I had the same problem AFAIK and I think I cured it by enabling a parameter in the World Pay Installation Administration Interface.

"Enable the Shopper Response" - tick box and try it out.

2) No idea - sorry.

It turned out to be a simple config in my example. Stupidly not checking the "enable shopper response" in WorldPay. Thanks for the help.
