any ideas? Running OC v 1.5.1 and latest vqmod
Well that error isn't related to this mod, but looks like it also needs adjustment. I dont see any thing running on that page related to option price update so something is certainly not matching up. If you PM me with ftp access I can take a look

I have exactly the same issue, but am no PHP expert. What did you put in to make that happen? It would be ideal to have that in the original xml in my opinion, it could then just be commented out for those who don't want it.

Does anyone with a good coding brain know what to put it to display the lowest price??

It's not part of the original xml because that isn't the way options are intended to work in OpenCart.
But for those that won't adjust their way of thinking, you can add this mod:
http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?f=131&t=51280

It is also specially designed to work with options price update redux

Qphoria -

I have been using your Option Price Update Redux mod on 1.5.1.3 and it was working great. Last night I started to receive an error that says the price update is undefined. Originally it was happening in IE9 but not in Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. Now its happening in ALL browsers.

Please advise.

Thanks!

Try getting the latest version and see if it helps. I changed the way it prints to the page. Seems to fix the issue in joocart and ayelshop so maybe the same will magically fix your issue

Qphoria-

I bought this mod off your personal site instead of the extensions marketplace. Is the newest version available for download from my account page on your site? Customer name is Matthew Sxxxxxxx.

Thanks!

Qphoria -

I've checked and I'm running the most updated version of the Option Price Update Redux. I'm using the built in functionality of Multi-Store on Opencart with the same product on multiple (currently 2 but in the future will be more) stores. It seems random, but on different browsers, operating systems, etc. I still receive the error message I posted three posts above. The strange part is the error will happen on one browser (lets say Chrome V. 18) but after I close the browser and then revisit the page the error is gone - without changing anything. This is true for all the following browsers:

IE 8, IE 9
Firefox
Chrome
Safari

I'm currently running OC 1.5.1.3 on a hosted server, but I'm planning on developing my sites locally for my upgrade to 1.5.2.1 and will then migrate to my hosted server for V1.5.2.1 when I've got the set up to where I want it. I'll update if the problem disappears when I'm upgrading.

Please advise!

Thanks!

Well you should certainly not get the exact same error about
error: price undefined as that doesn't even exist anymore.

You should get a much more elaborate error message.

I've updated to V. 1.5.2.1 and I'm still getting to very similar error messages. One error message simply says "Error:" without any other information. The second message says: "error in price update: undefined"

I'm running VQMod 1.4.x and 1.5.X 1.08 for opencart (that's what it says in the VQ mod manager at least).

I've also added the file uploader mod by Hydryowire: http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... on_id=1887

Could that be causing the problem?

I've also got this product listed on both of my two sites I've set up running on Opencart Multistores - would that be the problem?

Your help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

No you should be running vqmod 2.1.6
The latest version of option price update redux shows 2.1.5 is the minimum and has been like that for more than 6 months. Not sure what version of the file you are running but it isn't latest.

Are you asking if I'm running the newest version of the option price update or the latest version of VQmod?

Both. You said you are running 1.0.8 which would be too old. Get the latest vQmod and latest OPUR and try that.

Q-

Thanks. I will do that. I know I've got the latest OPUR but I will make sure to upgrade my VQmod.

Hi Qphoria, this plugin is great. It is working perfectly with options (options boost) but with Quantity it updates only when clicking outside the Qty input box or when hitting Enter. Is it possible to make it update just when typing quantity?

Last Opencart and vqmod versions installed and Themeglobal Free theme.

Try this.
1. EDIT: vqmod/xml/option_price_update_redux.xml

2. FIND:

Code: Select all

// Update whenever the triggerable page inputs are changed
$(':input[name^="option"],:input[name^="quantity"]').change(function(){
	updatePx();
});
3. REPLACE WITH:

Code: Select all

// Update whenever the triggerable page inputs are changed
$(':input[name^="option"]').change(function(){
	updatePx();
});

$(':input[name^="quantity"]').keypress(function(){
	updatePx();
});

Hi
Iam using this mod on a site build using the SportsStore Theme from Theme Forest.

When I look at the source code for the product page the vqmod seems to being pulling in the javascript but not the class around the price. hence the price doesnt change.

This is the last log from vqmod

---------- Date: 2012-05-15 08:22:03 ~ IP : 80.6.2.48 ----------
REQUEST URI : /diamonds/index.php?route=product/option_price_update/updatePrice
MOD DETAILS:
modFile : /home/sites/savenraise.com/public_html/diamonds/vqmod/xml/options_price_update_redux.xml
id : Options Price Update Redux
version : 1.0.1
vqmver : 2.1.3
author : qphoria
Could not resolve path for [diamonds/catalog/view/theme/sportstore/template/product/product.tpl]
----------------------------------------------------------------------

And this is the address in the xml file
<!-- CHANGE 'default' TO YOUR THEME -->
<file name="catalog/view/theme/sportstore/template/product/product.tpl">

The store is running a is sub directory of /diamonds/

Link to product page - http://www.savenraise.com/diamonds/ring ... luxe-court

Any help would be appreciated.

1. Update vqmod to latest
2. Get latest options price update as it no longer tells you to change that file. It uses a new dynamic method so you don't have to worry about that anymore

hi Thanks for reply.
i have updated vqmod to latest version.
can you let me know what your latest version os the redux is. i have this version that I bought from your website direct: OptionPriceUpdateRedux_OCv151.5. On my account on your site in downloads it is listed with the product name: OptionPriceUpdate (Latest) (still doesnt work)
is this the correct one for OC 1.5.2.1?
It no longer writes to the vqmod.log file.

Cheers
