Royal Mail extension not working for heavier overseas orders

Hi

I'm having a problem with our Royal Mail shipping extension

although it seems to work fine for UK addresses, international orders of around 500g or more show in the checkout as no shiping options available. I have searched for inconsistent catalogue entry but can't see anything obvious. Would it be sensible to upload an updated RM module do you think?

We'd be very graterful for any help or suggestions

Treacletart, this may be too obvious but are you sure that you have enabled Royal Mail for all geo zones? Check in EXTENSIONS - Shipping - Royal Mail - Geo Zone. Gotta ask if you didn't mention it.

We've found a possible glitch with the Royal Mail module in that a product bough with billing/shipping in the UK is being offered the option of International Airmail. Which it shouldn't really. Has anyone else had this problem and have you found a fix ?

Probably because you're using the default weights and prices that are included in the Royal Mail shipping extension, which are incomplete. I've updated mine to include all of Royal Mail's prices, because I had the same problem you're experiencing and noticed that the list of weights and prices in the extension was incomplete. If I remember right, the Airmail prices only went up to 500g, hence why the message appears on international orders over this amount.
