hi

I am using the export import mod and it will export fine.

However when trying to import it will not go.

The database has 7800 items in it, When I shrink the database it imports fine. My Hosting Comapny has increased all limits on memory etc but will still not upload.

Pretty desperate for suggestions :)

Dave

This will be a php memory/time restriction on your account, and unfortunately there's no way of fixing it other than to increase the limits. What memory limit has your host increased it to?

I am getting a similar problem:

I'm getting this error when trying to import my database now (after adding a few thousand more products)....

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 536870912 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 93 bytes) in /home/mikroweb/public_html/opm/system/PHPExcel/Classes/PHPExcel/Worksheet.php on line 961

Fatal Error: Allowed memory size of 536870912 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 93 bytes) in /home/mikroweb/public_html/opm/system/PHPExcel/Classes/PHPExcel/Worksheet.php on line 961

Any way around this?

I have 4806 unique products and 10,132 product options in total...
Does this exceed the possible size of a shops database?
My Excel filesize is 7.5MB

Any help would be much appreciated!

As I put above, this is a memory issue. You'll need to increase this (either yourself or get your host to help you)

Hi JAY,
Yeah I understand that, but I'm not sure how to do that under PHPMYADMIN.... I'm a in control of all settings for the host website...

I did go to php.ini and increase the memory_limit to the max 512MB..... but still get the same problem...

PMA won't affect the php memory size. 512 is not enough for quite a lot of installs using that size of inventory? Dd you check that the php.ini value overrides the setting too? It doesn't on all server installs
