Unwanted Shipping and handling fee appearing

Hi all,

I have a problem on the checkout summary where items have a 'Shipping and handling fee' appear for $10 just before the Grand Total, but I can't find where to remove it. I have tried disabling EVERY shipping option/module etc I can find, but it still appears, I am not using weight based Shipping as it is really only paper I am posting, I have tried Free Postage but the Shipping and handling amount still appears. As I have set postage options for each item (user selects which postage cost) I don't really need the shipping cost to show at all - but it does.

Does anyone know how I can 'turn off/get rid' of the Shipping and handling charge

If you're using PayPal, do you have shipping setup in your PayPal account settings?

Check whether you have the "Handling Fee" or "Low Order Fee" Order Totals enabled in Extensions > Order Totals. It sounds like one of those has been set up.

Yes thanks, PAYPAL was the culprit - I had price/shipping levels set in there.

Another quick question though, since I set 'Postage Options' for each item rather than using the 'Shipping' module', but since I have to use a Shipping option I selected 'Free Shipping', but how do I change the wording 'Free Shipping' to something like 'Postage included in total', and how do I get the postage option 'amount' to show on the invoice ??

To change "Free Shipping" to "Postage Included In Total", edit the file:
catalog / language / english / shipping / free.php

Is there a way to say something like 'Total of $xxxx Postage & Handling included in total, where the 'xxxx' is the amount of postage they selected from the Postage Options I gave for each item ?

There is no easy way to do this. Perhaps change the text to "See Product Options For Shipping Costs".
