HELP! I deleted my images/cache/data files

Hi. Recently I have this issue with images not showing when I upload them. I found a thread that said to delete the files in images/cache/data files if you are having issues. I did that but now none of my images show online!! Is there a way to get the cache to automatically be created or should I just delete all my files in the /images/data file and re-upload the files back to the directory?

Have you checked the permissions on your cache folder.

Permissions were set at 777 for both the images/cache/data and images/data folders so I changed to 755, but it's still not creating the cache...

I have the same problem!! HELP!!! How to resolve this?
