This isn't my work, I just put it together in a vQmod. Be sure to read the install.txt instructions or it won't work.
for 1.4.9.3 1.5.1.3 can be found here: http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... on_id=4511

I heart cmd-f, cmd-c, cmd-v, cmd-z + vQmod.

I installed this vQmod but it's not tracking my sales. I edited the XML file to include my Google Analytics WebID number and store name, and I turned on E-Commerce tracking in Google Analytics, but none of me sales are showing up.
Any idea why it's not working? Do I need to enable the google analytics module under the extensions tab? Right now it's disabled because I thought this vQmod replaced that module. I'm using OC 1.4.9.3

The Google Analytics module should be enabled as well. This mod just adds e-commerce tracking. Try that and see how you go.

Thanks. I just enabled it so we'll see if it starts tracking my sales too. I'll keep you posted.philbydevil wrote:The Google Analytics module should be enabled as well. This mod just adds e-commerce tracking. Try that and see how you go.
Cheers mate!
You can always create a product that costs $0.00 and then proceed through checkout (choosing bank transfer, or cheque, or something that you don't really have to pay) to test if it's all working correctly.

btw thanks for the vqmod. my analytics can actually tell what is sold now. not just the fact goal url was hit.

Any chance of updating this vQmod? It fails on the very first modification attempt in the XML and who knows how many more on OC v1.5.1.3
Hi, I've uploaded the code after adding my shop analytics details to the code.
Analytics is on, and showing up in the source code, but the e-commerce code isn't showing anything up in the google stats.
Should it show up in the page source code on the live site? as I can't see anything...
See http://bleachers.co.uk/retail/
I've had sales go through on the site, but as I said nothing showing up in GA?
Thanks

The vQmod on this page is for 1.4.9 only. If you are running 1.5.x then you will need to use the updated xml (see a couple of posts up).

I used PayPal Standard on the 1.4.9.3 store that I wrote this vQmod for and it worked fine. Are you sure you followed the install.txt instructions correctly.

Hi there,blackhalo wrote:Could someone please tune-me-in to the SQL statement for Product Options?
I need to get SIZE and COLOR options into the tracking code.
I just spent the last year NOT tracking these details... and I severely regret it now.
That sort of data is priceless for making decisions on future products.
Is this right?
<?php echo $product['product_option_value']; ?>
Here's what I'm trying to do:

Just need a little insight... thanks!!
Anyone had any luck on this? Just wanna find out what is the correct database structure.
Price -------> <?php echo $product['price']; ?>
model ------> <?php echo $product['model']; ?>
option ------>

Much appreciated.

Don.
