any special hosting requirements?

Can I get standard hosting or do I need to go to certain hosts? also, is there any need for dedicated server? I wouldn't imagine so...just being sure

you should go with a standard hosting technique. I have used reseller and VPS, dedicated servers to host. It is best for the hosting.
