what about DO NOT create database when there is one?
i had to reinstall, but when i did that it completely wiped the database!

luckly i just tested opencart

it should not.


use back & restore.

it only creates db inserts.

but meybe you should code in a failsafe like say if it detects any existing database it will skip anything with database into the install script

am using 1.3.0 btw

and i say am in love with opencart its nearly simple (the product add and category add is kinda annoying to go thru 2 pages to add anyting) but still its nice store interface and professional look, it looks like any other big stores hehe :)
