Hi All!
I have some apps that I would like to add to the cart. I would like for the product to display the QR Code in place of the Add to Cart button. It would work kinda like this...

You add a new product, enter the App info as you would any other product. Then on the Data tab, have Radio buttons for Tangible, non-Tangible, Android Market. Selecting Tangible (shipped products) will continue as is. Selecting non-Tangible (downloads, eBooks, etc...) could help you keep your e-Products separate from the tangibles. Now when you select the Android Market, you will get a input line to enter the Android Market App URL or it could be the Amazon one if you use them. After you enter the App URL, it would generate the QR Code on the product page (product.tpl) in place of the Add to Cart button. Then you can scan that with you phone to download and install the App.

Would be even nicer if the Apps could be added to the store and the user could download it directly to their phone or even have it send the file directly to their phone, via SMS or MMS, after they enter their cell phone number on registration or by prompting them. This would be good for wallpapers, ringtones, .apk's(Android Apps), videos, sound files, MP3's, etc...

Would be another 1st for OC!

Any takers?

Thanks!

Gilmore
