I am assuming this is the fix ? - thus $this->cart->getSubTotal() returns the same value as $this->cart->getTotal().
where does it go, what file, directory, line, etc..
does it replace a line ?

I'm also facing this problem.
I have changed the code, and nothing changes.
I have the sorting order configured correctly but is does not work like it should.
I have the free shipping set to 26€ (21.1382 without tax)
Any help is much apreciated
