Checkout cart does not show up in a new window

Checkout cart does not show up in a new window

In the demo site when you click check out, it shows up in a different window.
On my site, it show up towards the bottom of the page below all the items..

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

It looks like you just need to edit your featured and slideshow modules so that they don't show up on the checkout page. Just go to "Extensions > Modules > Featured" and "Extensions > Modules > Slideshow" and remove them from the Checkout layout.
