Hi there.
I am using Open Cart 1.5.1
I am having some issues with price.
My checkout adds up the price of the chosen option and the list price... so in admin under products/data.. I list my price. Then I go to options and if I display an option price (for different volumes) then my checkout lists twice the price. If I dont list a price under products data then the price displayed on the site shows zero.
Then if I try to alter volume price by adding only the difference my price looks odd.. so for example one product three prices..
Call it product "brilliant" and it has two volumes.. 100ml.. and 1 litre . If the price for 100ml is 62.. and the price for 1 litre is 150. how can I set it up so that the options are the actual prices and the actual prices display on the website.. not that the 100 ml shows as zero.. and the 1 litre shows as +88 (being 62+88=150)
I feel like I"m missing something basic here.. can anyone please direct me.
Kind thanks.

You have one product available in 2 sizes. One of them is a default size, the other size is the option.cartuser wrote:... Call it product "brilliant" and it has two volumes.. 100ml.. and 1 litre . So, in the above example, the product "brilliant" is available in a 100ml container at a price of 62 currency units (the default). For an extra 88 currency units, you can get the 1 litre size. Basically, you only need to have the one option.

Thanks for the response..
I understand what you have said now.. but when I go into my option (for the larger size) I dont want it to look like it is 62 + 88c.. I want one option to read 62 and the next option to read as 150.
Is that possible?
Many thanks

Options Boost has this as an option.

I"m still searching here.
In the extensions part http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... /extension I see some more information but would like some direction.. it looks like I need to install some vqmod stuff..
http://code.google.com/p/vqmod/downloads/list
But which one? Is it the top one if I have open cart 1.5.1? On the page people seem to have had problems with the install and it looks like if I follow the instructions there I might have problems like the people have posted below the instructions have had... so do I just follow the instructions there?
This is a steep learning curve for me.
Thanks
