Is there any extension that sends an email after X days to a customer who left items in its' cart? I was searching for such extension and didn't find anything. Thank you!

The best solution would be for you to set-up a cron job on an every day basis so that customers gets notified once the time period has exceeded from the cart. This methodology would also give you the advantage of saving server email resources.
