Customer Service Tab

Hi all,

On my website along the bottom I have four tabs called Information, Customer Service, Extras and My Account.

I would like to add a link to the customer service section called Forum. Is this possible?

It would look like this:

Customer Service
• Contact Us
• Returns
• Site Map
• Forum

Surely there is an easy way to add a page as it where?

Change in file footer
1. catalog/controller/common/footer.php
2. catalog/language/english/common/footer.php
3. catalog/view/theme/your_theme/template/common/footer.tpl

Is this done through the FTP? (don't laugh) I'm a complete technophobe I can use the back office (just about) but anything other than that and I get stuck!

Yes, you would edit the files that were mentioned through an FTP client or directly in your cPanel's file manager. It's quite easy actually. Let me know if you need help with it. It would take all of 2 minutes.

By the way, if you are just adding a forum to field customer service inquires, i'd highly recommend Vanilla Forums. You can embed the forum directly into your OpenCart site, that way you don't have to try and design your forum to look like the rest of your website.
