Hi, I did a test and signed up as an affiliate for my own store... and putting the tracking link in a blog. Then I clicked on the link and purchased in my store... but nothing is tracked in the admin panel. I tested using Paypal in both Sandbox and real-time but nothing works.

How are affiliates tracked?

Thanks & merry Christmas!

Yes, I did approve the affiliate... but every time I make a purchase from affiliate's link, the affiliate's commission remains as zero ???

I am using OC1.5.1

Never mind, I found the problem.. I have to go to order details to add the commission. I assumed that the commission will be automatically added into the affiliate's account ::)

For those of you who need the affiliates commission to be added automatically to the affliates account, i have written a vqmod extension that takes care of that. no more need to go into each order and add the commision manually. you will still have the ability to remove and re-add a commmison.

there are no core changes with this extension and no new files to be added. its simple a vqmod xml file that takes care of it all.
