Show Categories and image on homepage

Hi there, I have opencart version 1.5.1.1 and am creating my own theme.

I would like to show the categories on the homepage of my site not the latest products.

How can I do this?

I tried to install a module categories home but this broke my site. Showed error reading english language on my store. The module did show in admin.

I removed the plugin and luckily had a backup of my files.

Any ideas?

Hi there, thank you for helping.

I have downloaded and installed for my version of opencart.

I logged in to the admin area and its in the module section called category wall. I clicked edit and selected content bottom and made sure it was enabled.

When I refresh my store front nothing changes.

I am new to opencart - what am i doing wrong?
