My cart is running fine, I've got alert emails coming to people in my office on sales, as well as our fulfillment center.

The question is though, that now as we're growing, we have different fulfillment centers to handle different items. (Books/Apparel/etc.)

Say someone orders a book, I want the secondary alert email to go to fulfillment center A.
Say someone orders a jacket, I want the secondary alert email to go to fulfillment center B.
Say someone orders both a book and a jacket, emails go to both A and B, but only for the items that can be fulfilled there.

I'm thinking it'd be broken down as a per product option based on product id.

Does anyone have any ideas for this ???

What about putting the email in the product location, and writing up a code that sends email notifications to each product location?

travoltron - Did you ever figure out how to do this? I'm in the same position: My t-shirt printer gets the email (CC to me) on all orders, but now I'm adding promo products through a Vendor #2. I need products in that category to trigger an email to just him...
