I'm using OpenCart 1.5.1.3. I went into the Order Totals section in the admin panel, and enabled the "Handling Fee" option, set the sort order, and set an amount of "7.00".

When I visit the card, the handling charge doesn't show up.

How do I make it show up in the cart?

EDIT: Nevermind. I thought that the "Order Total" field was for what the handling fee should be called. Turns out it's a number- any order amount less than that gets charged the handling fee.

Thank you SO much for posting this. I couldn't find this information anywhere. It's not in any published documentation. Now my handling fee works.

If you want a per-item handling fee, you'll need to get an extension, such as Item-Based Fee/Discount
