How do I change certain system generated text?

How do I change the text in the top nav bar from "Basket" to "Cart" ? What file would I edit?

If you are using version 1.2.9 edit the header.php file at:

Path:

Catalog\Language\English\Common\header.php

I did the same a few minutes ago when I saw your question. I'm not sure with how to make the change in other versions. I hope this helps.
