I would like to use this cart it looks nice, but I have some questions.

Is there DB caching to a file to speed up an inventory of 276,000 products? This is a biggie

Can I import/export users and products? I am not willing to enter 7000 users and 276,000 products by hand...

Please Help Me! I am going insane with VirtueMart.

Thanks Jason

I think there is a import for products...

or maybe we could write a custom script to import for you..

from what other cart?  and also same for the users... maybe a custom script..

I can put them in the needed order or what ever is needed. I rearrange everything in MS Access from Mas200 ERP.So if you have an upload/import script to import users and products. I can put it into any format is easiest for you.

Last Question. Does OpenCart Support Database caching so that it will be faster? 276,000 is slowing down Virtue mart. Database Caching is the only solution that I have found that works. osCommerce uses this.

Thanks

Can you get the format in MySQL? If not I might be able to do it in XML. As long as they have a product to cateogry structure.

How about CSV or access or excel?

Well maybe I can export it as a XML Document with excel or access?

I am pretty sure we are only going to have 1 category...

I would like to move over from Cubecart and would love an import function to move all my products over. Maybe even the users.

why are you bumping a thread that is over 30days old..

(even as your first post)

We have a 1.0 feature section going and kind of a wish list too

I did a search and this came up, which is why I replied to this topic.
