Yes. The issue with any shipper integration is preparing the shipment before sending it to the shipper. What I mean is, how many boxes, how heavy is each box, what are the dimensions of each box, etc.

Integration of UPS, USPS, Stamps.com, etc. is good if you are sending single box shipments but it gets VERY complex when you need to do multiple boxes to create multiple labels for a single order/shipment.

I have just noticed that there is a plugin for Zen Cart with stamps.com. Basically, it imports the orders from Zen-Cart to Stamps.com software, and then you can print the labels from there, and it posts backs the tracking number and stuff.

Here is the example: https://stamps.custhelp.com/app/answers ... D#Postback

Is there any developer that can built it for OpenCart based on this concept?

*Also, in OpenCart, need to make a button that will generate invoice number all at once a.k.a Batch and can print all invoice at once.

In most cases, its one box per order but of course it can get complicated. However, OpenCart doesn't have anything yet so its better to start somewhere and built on it. That's why I'm looking for a developer to make an extension and publish it in store, so people can start using it.

Stamps.com has a few ways to integrate so you can easily import order data to print USPS shipping labels.

#1 XML or ODBC
Automate your shipping by retrieving order information directly from the data source - anything from an Excel spreadsheet to a XML file to a SQL database. Simply configure an ODBC connection to your database and start shipping. Important shipping information, such as tracking numbers, will post directly back into your database.

#2 Web Services API
Deliver shipping labels anywhere you want them, exactly when you need them. Stamps.com's SOAP-based Web Services platform allows you to generate USPS shipping labels in virtually any technology environment necessary. The API also supports address cleansing, rating, package tracking, and more. Ideal for web-based ecommerce integration or any web-hosted application.

Besides those two options, we also integrate with many different marketplaces such as eBay and Amazon.

Thanks!

Hello All,

Please share the expectations from this module as I have some one interested for this module but I don't want to charge too high.

I'll build up a module and sell to others too. This way, I'll compensate the cost.

Let me know, if you are interested?

As mentioned in my message, I am looking forward to understand the expectations from that module and develop it accordingly.
Stamps.com has lot of functions, few important ones:
- Load order details
- Generate Labels
- Provide shipping quotes to update shopping cart.

Let me know your expectations too.

You can send me a PM to discuss this over other medium and come back with crux of our discussion.

I have created a opencart module that will work with stamps.com! Spent a whole lot of time modifying the osCommerce code but I finally got the orders to pull through on the stamps.com desktop software. If anyone is interested in purchasing the module please contact me directly after making a purchase.

Guys, don't buy this. I already have a working solution. I will add it to the store for a MUCH cheaper price. Honestly, his module is not worth the 60$ - it's all available out of the box...

This is also something I have been looking for every since I started using OpenCart a few months ago. I have been using stamps.com for a over a year now and have been pretty happy with them. But their integration with paypal is somewhat limited, and being able to pull information right from OpenCart will make things a lot cleaner.

For example, on international orders, paypal will not pass the customer phone number for the customs form. Plus paypal will never post anything back. This is just a few things that could be fixed if we pulled right out of opencart.

I have spoken with Stamps.com multiple times about this. I am no expert in this area, but they said that all they need is to have a single opencart developer request to have this integrated, and Stamps.com would provide the necessary information.

The link was posted on this thread a while ago: http://developer.stamps.com/developer/api/

I noticed a beta version of this just became available, but is only for 1.5.2.1 and I am using 1.5.1.3.

http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... 819&page=6

I think one of the biggest benefits with this is to eliminate the paypal webstore from stamps.com all together. That way for those of us that have a website and sell on ebay, we can avoid the duplicate orders coming in.

Let me know if I can help in any way (besides programming). I would like to see this become a standard tool with opencart and stamps.com.

The stable version has just been released. v1.5.1.3 and v1.5.2.1 shouldn't have any impact regarding the required changes from VQMod.

Dedication and passion goes to those who are able to push and merge a project.
