Sub Brands / Sub Manufacturers

Hi,

is it possible to create categories within manufacturers e.g.

General Motors is the 'manufacturer' , 'trucks', 'SUV' and 'Cars' are the 'sub manufacturer' and mini, midi, maxi etc. are the products

General Motors
Trucks - Mini Cab
- Midi Cab
- Maxi Cab
SUV - Mini SUV
- Midi SUV
- Maxi SUV
Cars - Mini
- Midi
- Maxi

Currently there is no way to do this. I don't really understand the need. I think you'd be better off setting up what you want as Categories.

But, you could make a request in the Development forum, never know someone might whip up a mod for it.

yeah this is pretty easy to do... just need to add the extra subs and parentids like the categories.

It might be pretty easy for you, unfortunately it's over my head. Thanks anyway.
