Code to remove number in brackets next to category

I'm new to opencart, and a beginner at PHP.
Can someone show me the code to remove the number in brackets next to each category?

For example:
Desktops (20)
- Mac (12)
- PC (8)

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks. But, I can't find the vqmod folder. I'm using the most recent version of Opencart. I'm on a Linux server.
Can you tell me the file path to find the VQmod folder?

vQmod is a separate application designed for opencart to do "virtual file modification"
