In my ZenCart site I have the option of 'Roll over'--> When a visitor rolls over the image it enlarge itself even without clicking the image.
Here is an e.g. : http://beyond-silver.us/index.php?main_ ... cPath=2_16
Is there the same option for the Open cart site: http://noajewelry.com/

and you don't really need to add a mod for it... just edit your stylesheet...
and put an a link attribute (for example in this case it would be something like a:hover) in your stylesheet for the corresponding div tag
