Just thought you may like to know that your site is reported as an "attack" site.

A stupid question is the one you -don't- ask.........(Anon)

OK, I'm having all kinds of issues here in IE8. The widths of these pages are wrong, and it whacks out the size and placement of everything on the right side as a result. The "Read More" page for each news story is even worse! This is visible on the demo pages from the creator too. You can also see that the width breaks the header, forcing the ends out and leaving a gap. The base of these pages is also broken, clearly much narrower than the resulting pages, even with the gaps pushing the ends out.

Test site: http://captured.server270.com/opencart/ ... =news/news
Test admin: http://captured.server270.com/opencart/admin
You can use "bugfix" as the username and PW, it has no modify permissions at all but should have view permissions.

Can someone tell me where to set the widths of these elements, and what the widths of all the default similar elements that come with the cart are, so I can match them? So far I can;t find any kind of width specifications anywhere in the files for this mod.

EDIT: Sorry, lost my original post which had this: Opencart 1.4.9.3
I did install the IE8 fixes for this module. This wackyness doesn't show up in Google Chrome. I'm guessing the IE8 fixes don't quite cover something about it...the admin pages work right in Chrome too.

I've got this partway fixed. Turns out that if you copy paste the instruction pieces as they are given, you end up with the code in the header.tpl that tells it whether or not to use the IE8 css file gets completely commented out. That got rid of the parts that were stretching things, so it's a start.

However, the news page as coded seems to be thinner than the rest - cropping the center column in a graphics program shows a difference of 30 pixels (550, while the main page and other stock pages are a width of 580). There's a width setting, set by default to 562px, in the IE8.css file, but changing this number doesn't appear to change anything, and this is the only width setting I can find anywhere in the files of this mod. This width difference is still whacking out stuff in other columns on IE8. This issue is completely absent on Chrome, Firefox, and Steam.

Installed to a completely clean test cart to see what would happen. It works with the IE8 fixes applied, but the formatting of the page header ends up being changed in odd ways that make the page "shift" elements, bringing them up and together somewhat, as well as altering the location of the tabs, when you go to the news page. Admin pages are still screwed up and do not obey the "bounds" they should for size.

And there appears to be no support at all from the creator at this point. Buyer beware. I've rated this one star unless the creator replies and can make it work correctly.

Thank you for you notes about the commercial opencart. Now at least i'm aware what to expect. And i wish it had support from the creator as well, that's a problem.
