how can i remove the slide show

i 've installed the lite red template . but i can't make it like the demo

it looks like the default template but the change is only in the color xS

i want to remove the slideoshow and make the categories in the left side and make the latest products shown as in the demo

Where are the solutions :S ?

Log into your Admin Control Panel for Opencart, go to modules ( if I remember right ), and uninstall it. Don't worry, it will still be there if you ever want to install it again. It's not a true uninstall, it's more like a de-activate.

Or you could just go to Extensons > Modules in the admin area and where it says Slideshow on the left click edit on the right and change the Status drop down from Enabled to Disabled.
