the banner

HI and my new question please. There's banner should stay at the main page, but when I click "about us", the banner is there either. is there any way to remove it from "about us" and just display at the main page.

You should find your answer in admin > Extensions > Modules > Banner.

Remove the offending entry.

it was "disabled" already, did you mean "remove" it ? or "uninstall" it ?
if i "remove" or "uninstall", will the banner still be displayed at main page?

i removed the banner and did like this just now:
admin > Extensions > Modules > Banner > Uninstall

nothing happened, banner still there. it's on both my main page and "about us" :-(
