Sharing Customer Registration Across Multiple Carts

Hello All,

I was just wondering if anyone new of a module or feature that would allow customers to register and login across multiple Opencart installations. My customer has two cart installs, one customized to be used as a downloads catalog rather than a place to purchase merchandise and the other an actual shopping cart. I have made too many changes in the back end of the catalog to use the Multistore option for this problem.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts on the issue.

Sure, it's possible to do. you would need to have access to both cart databases and basically write to each when a user edits/updates their information

Sounds great. Do you have anything already written up for that? I am not that well versed in databases and PHP so this is not something I would be able to do unfortunately.

unfortunately not no, this isn't something that many people would consider doing. it requires a lot of changes to both shopping carts
